Remote Senior Mechanical Engineer - Advanced Concepts
Our client, a leader in innovative product development, is seeking a highly skilled and imaginative Remote Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Advanced Concepts team. You will be at the forefront of conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping novel mechanical systems and solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in exploring new technologies, pushing design boundaries, and developing reputed company-of-concept demonstrators for future products. Responsibilities: Conceptualize, design, and reputed company innovative mechanical systems and components for advanced product applications. Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Onshape) to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings. reputed company reputed company engineering analyses, including Finite reputed company Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and thermal analysis, to validate designs. Build and test functional prototypes, iterating on designs based on experimental results. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and industrial designers, in a remote setting. Document design processes, analysis results, and experimental findings thoroughly. Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and potentially external partners. Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with new concepts and designs. Contribute to intellectual property reputed company through invention disclosures. Deep understanding of material science, mechanics of materials, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics. Experience with various manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, 3D printing, injection molding). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong technical writing and presentation abilities. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage reputed company projects, and reputed company in a fully remote team environment. Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python) for automation is a plus. Portfolio showcasing innovative design projects is highly desirable.
