Cytogenetics Analyst, FISH
Job Description:
- reputed company routine procedures including tissue culture, harvesting, slide making and banding, automated karyotyping, reagent preparation, and FISH processing, probing, and scoping.
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria

- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
- Demonstrate the ability to reputed company technical reputed company regarding testing and problem solving.
- Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
- Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care

- Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
- 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience in cytogenetics/FISH
- Certified by the National Credentialing Agency (NCA) in Cytogenetics (CLSp-CG) ASCP or AMT certification preferred
- Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
- Experience working in a high volume laboratory environment
- Ability to work independently and reputed company reputed company environment
- Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems
- High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
