Role Description This is a Salaried, Full-Time, Remote position with optional Hybrid / On-Site in the Baltimore MD area for a Senior VoIP Engineer. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain Voice over IP (VoIP) systems while offering technical support and troubleshooting for telephony solutions. Additional responsibilities include managing FCC compliance, SMS messaging campaigns, and optimizing networking systems to ensure seamless communication and reliability for clients. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve system issues is a key aspect of this role. Friendly, professional, and eloquent client facing communication is a key component and requirement of the job.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in one or more VoIP / Telephony systems.
- SSCA, ZCSE, YSCE, or equivalent proven experience.
- Network+, CCNA, or equivalent proven experience.
- Low level troubleshooting skills including packet capture and analysis, SIP session diagnosis, and event log analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in an IT services or managed services environment is beneficial
