The Conservation Fund (TCF) is in the business of conservation, creating innovative solutions that drive nature-based action for climate protection, sustainable economies, and vibrant communities. With over 4,000 projects completed across reputed company 50 states, TCF has protected critical lands valued at more than $8 billion since 1985. The California State Director leads TCF’s conservation programs in the state, predominantly conservation reputed company, dispositions, and fundraising for project completion and operations. The Director develops and manages partner relationships with state, local, and federal conservation agencies and with public and private funders to support this work. • The California State Director’s estimated annual salary reputed company is $170,000–$190,000 based on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and education, with opportunities to earn additional performance-based bonus compensation.

Location and Work Environment:

• While the position is fully remote, the State Director must be located reputed company California.
• Travel across the state and region is estimated at 4–5 overnights per month, plus additional day travel, likely requiring significant driving hours.
• Work is performed in an office and outdoors in reputed company weather conditions, with some lifting (up to 20 pounds) and the ability to traverse reputed company terrain at conservation sites required.
