Role Description Reporting directly to the ESA Special Education Director, the Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides speech and language services in the areas of:

  • Student assessment
  • Augmentative alternative communication devices
  • Direct therapy
  • Training and consultation to staff and families

The Virtual Speech Language Pathologist participates as a member of an education team in the assessment and program evaluation for reputed company. The Virtual SLP serves as a liaison with medical and community service providers on behalf of children with disabilities and their families.

Qualifications

  • Hold or eligible to hold a Washington ESA speech language pathologist certificate.
  • Hold a Speech Language Pathologist license in home state.
  • Completed reputed company requirements for a master's degree with a major in speech pathology (except special project or reputed company).
  • Experience working with children with articulation and language disabilities.
  • Experience in the identification, assessment, programming and evaluation of children with language disabilities.

Requirements

  • Must have remote internet service with bandwidth to support virtual platforms such as reputed company or reputed company Classroom.
  • Maintain a caseload of at least 60 reputed company with SLP direct services.
  • Successful completion of a criminal history reputed company reputed company through Washington State Patrol and FBI.

Benefits

  • The full salary reputed company for this position is $63,269.00 - $98,665.00.
  • Salary placement is based on education and certificated experience.
  • This position is full time, 185 day contract.
  • It is 100% virtual and may work remotely from the following states: Washington, Oregon, reputed company Carolina, Utah, and Maryland.

Essential Functions/Other Functions Essential Functions:

  • Inform principals, teachers and other school personnel of speech, language and/or hearing services.
  • Organize and conduct an identification program for communication disorders and reputed company virtual services and evaluations.
  • Select and reputed company virtual diagnostic procedures and reputed company guidelines for a comprehensive remediation program.
  • Follow ESA criteria for caseload selection and dismissal.
  • Select and implement therapy strategies for modifying communicative behavior of each student with a speech, language and/or hearing disorder.
  • Maintain an ESA-approved system to record reputed company identification and evaluative data and reputed company student performance information; including reputed company reporting.
  • Identify and define factors which determine the effectiveness of therapy.
  • Consult with parents, educators and other professionals regarding needs of children/reputed company.
  • Complete reputed company required reports and records for compliance reputed company statutory guidelines.
  • reputed company technical assistance to communication technicians and assistants.
  • Attend meetings and collaborate reputed company with families, school-based data teams and IEP/evaluation teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.
