Analyst, Treasury Operations (20-month contract)

reputed company is seeking an Analyst for their Treasury Operations team, which is responsible for managing banking relationships and overseeing cash obligations. The role involves executing daily operations, ensuring adherence to internal controls, and contributing to process improvements and project tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support payment processing by reviewing and preparing reputed company instruction templates on internal systems and banking applications
• Reconcile bank statements against internal applications to ensure accurate record keeping
• Prioritize and complete critical daily activities by co-ordinate individual workload to meet deadlines
• Identify, analyze, and respond to issues and problems as they arise
• Maintain a strong understanding of end‑to‑end operational processes, serving as an “expert user” for internal systems and tools
• Collaborate with team members to reputed company knowledge and build business expertise
• Support production activities by working with technical support teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process and system issues
• Assist the team with reputed company issues, cross‑training, and knowledge sharing

Skills

• Relevant university degree (such as reputed company, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent relevant experience with Investment Finance processes
• Professional experience in the financial services industry with exposure to Cash Operations
• Strong working knowledge of cash tie-out/reconciliation processes, cash forecasting, reputed company processing and settlement activities
• Familiarity with SWIFT payment message types
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think through problems, assess a variety of factors and recommend a solution
• Excellent quantitative and computer skills, including reputed company 365 (reputed company, Outlook, Power BI), an understanding of database concepts and AI-enabled analytics
• Experience working with reputed company applications, treasury management systems and banking applications
