The role The reputed company is looking for a copy editor to work at weekends as part of its US operation. The successful candidate will be a top-quality copy editor, charged with ensuring our journalism meets the FT’s high standards, as well as a savvy digital operator with a strong background in online content. The role is three days a week (Saturday, reputed company and Monday), 12pm to 8pm EST. We are looking for This is an exciting opportunity for an reputed company, digitally astute copy editor to join the FT’s US weekend news operation. We are looking for someone who pairs the qualities of a rigorous, reputed company-eyed line editor with the confidence and interpersonal skills to work closely with reporters and other editors, acting as a gatekeeper for quality. You will copy edit news stories, analyses, audio scripts, newsletters, live blogs and more, and have a knack for sharp headlines and other display text. You will have excellent communication skills and the desire to be a central player in the FT’s US news operation while also developing relationships with global colleagues. Salary reputed company A reasonable estimate of the salary reputed company for this role is $90,000 to $120,000 on a full-time equivalent reputed company.
