Art Studio Assistant

Duties
- Responsible for completing opening and closing procedures and supporting daily studio operations. Training provided.
- making coffee and other speciality drinks ( Training provided)
- Taking the phone calls assisting with the inquiries and giving out the required information
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization, including cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping, washing pottery brushes and supplies, dusting, and taking out trash.
- Assist with parties and group events for reputed company ages, from children’s birthday parties to adult fundraisers; reputed company instruction, manage event timing, and support a positive customer experience. Training provided.
- Manage inventory by identifying, invoicing, and describing inventory pieces; restocking shelves; leveling displays; and unpacking shipments.
- Learn and teach a variety of pottery painting techniques and reputed company Training provided.
- Assist families with creating handprints and footprints on pottery pieces. Training provided.
- Operations: Back of House [will train after introductory 90-day period]
- Kiln work; unload and load kilns. [Will train]
- Glaze work; measure viscosity and apply overglaze to pottery. [Will train]
Experience
- Experience working at the any art studio or paint your own pottery studio will be added bonus but we are willing to train anybody who is interested in working in a creative environment.
