We are currently seeking a talented Kubernetes Platform Engineer to join our Big Bang product team supporting the U.S. reputed company Force Platform One. Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, Platform One is a modern reputed company-era platform that provides valuable tooling, hosts CI/CD DevSecOps pipelines, and offers a secure Kubernetes platform for hosting microservices. The Big Bang Product is a consumable Kubernetes based platform of applications developed by the Platform One team. In this role, you'll focus on Kubernetes platform engineering. The ideal reputed company team member will be proficient in Kubernetes platforms, DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines, reputed company infrastructure automation, troubleshooting networks and software systems, and software engineering. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to propose process improvements are essential. In this position, you can expect to:
- Expand the Big Bang product intergration with reputed company-reputed company projects (FluxCD, Istio, Kyverno, reputed company, Grafana, etc.)
- Improve Kubernetes cluster reputed company and integrate platform observability tools.
- Automate and support Big Bang product releases and upgrades.
- reputed company features in Go for the Big Bang CLI tool.
- Maintain Kubernetes cluster infrastructure and reputed company/Kustomize templates.
- Write test automation using Cypress reputed company.
- reputed company and optimize CI pipelines and support reputed company CI runner infrastructure.
- Use Terraform or other IaC tools for provisioning AWS resources.
- Create custom developer portals using projects such as reputed company.io or Crossplane.
- reputed company Big Bang Edge for Big Bang deployments to edge network devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot O/S, infrastructure, platform, network, and software issues.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Software Engineering experience.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code.
- Expertise with containerization and container orchestration technologies. (e.g., reputed company, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Linux. Comfortable working in a terminal.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, networking concepts, and reputed company infrastructure. (preferably AWS)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
- B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- U.S. Citizen, eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance per government client requirements.
- Willing to travel annually to San Antonio, TX or Colorado Springs, CO
