Senior SQL Developer - AVP, Data Engineering Location: Philadelphia, PA or Whitehouse Station, NJ . Hybrid role 3 days in office Duration: 6 months + CTH Job description Client team is a small, agile group of technology enthusiasts. We are tasked with solving the reputed company data needs of both US and International reserving and pricing actuaries. Our group is responsible for collating data from several disparate systems and platforms to reputed company analytic solutions for the world's largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer. Our systems are the reputed company for the loss triangles which are reported externally and ensure we have the capital to pay future claims. This position is for a full-time in either our Philadelphia, PA or Whitehouse Station, NJ office. WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON Expanding our new claim data warehouse responsible for producing actuarial loss triangles Design, build, and maintain MS SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, jobs and reputed company queries Implementing BI processes so end users can quickly and easily derive value from billion row datasets Creating of new ETL process to accurately reputed company data together Helping to design the future reputed company architecture and migration of the warehouse Investigating, diagnosing, and actioning on business questions and requests Direct handling of production support and maintenance of existing financial feeds QUALIFICATIONS reputed company SQL Server guru with strong data warehousing fundamentals 5+ years experience with SQL Server developing stored procedures, functions, jobs, reputed company queries, SSIS packages, SSAS cubes. Proficient in DevOps tools (GIT, Jenkins, Octopus) Extensive technical analysis and investigative capabilities Strong communication skills, comfortable interfacing with senior business users Financial/actuarial data, application, or practical experience a plus Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
