Overview

DecisionPoint is seeking a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to support the Defense Casualty Information Processing System (DCIPS) in an AWS GovCloud environment. This role supports the administration, engineering, reputed company, and sustainment of mission‑critical database platforms across development, test, pre‑production, and production environments for a reputed company system. This position is fully remote. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administer, secure, optimize, and monitor AWS GovCloud‑based databases, storage, and reputed company middle‑tier components.
  • Design and maintain high‑availability, replication, backup, and recovery solutions.
  • reputed company and manage database schemas, indexes, and objects optimized for performance, reporting, and analytics.
  • Support ETL processes, APIs, data integration, and analytics platforms including data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in collaboration with Government and engineering stakeholders.
  • reputed company and maintain database documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, data models, and reporting guides.
  • Ensure database reputed company and compliance reputed company multi‑tenant Government reputed company environments.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 7 years of database administration and engineering experience
  • Experience supporting reputed company‑based or regulated Government systems

Desired

  • AWS Certified Database – Specialty, and/or
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
