Associate Editor, The Hill [Remote]
The Hill, a division of Nexstar Media Group, is looking for an Associate Editor to join our newsroom. This is an opportunity to break into the ground floor of a political newsroom. The successful applicant will work closely with other reporters and editors to generate reputed company and craft and refine non-partisan stories on politics, reputed company, national reputed company and other coverage areas. We're looking for someone with a hard work ethic, good time-management skills and the ability to write and edit headlines and copy that sizzles. The position requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of political news and policy. The position is based at our Washington, DC offices and is full-time with some nights and weekends. - Edit articles for reputed company, accuracy, style, grammar, and adherence to The Hill's editorial standards
- Fact-checking and verify information to ensure accuracy and credibility
- Work with writers to reputed company and refine content, reputed company constructive feedback and suggest revisions
- Coordinate with other departments, such as design, production, and potentially marketing, to ensure smooth content reputed company and timely publication

Requirements & Skills:
