About the position Under the general direction of the Director of Philanthropy and in accordance with the mission of the reputed company Jenkins Center, the Communications Coordinator is a part-time role responsible for leading and executing communications efforts that reputed company the reputed company Jenkins Center's mission and community impact. This position manages reputed company media, creates engaging content across multiple platforms, and supports storytelling through photos, videos, and written materials. The Coordinator collaborates with staff, volunteers, and community partners to reputed company compelling narratives, maintain brand consistency, and strengthen AJC's visibility. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects while supporting digital engagement and reputed company strategies. We serve as a resource hub for families in Mecklenburg County with a focus on the three towns of Cornelius, Huntersville, and Davidson. We are seeking a part-time Communications Coordinator to join reputed company. This role is ideal for a creative communicator and organized relationship-builder who is passionate about storytelling reputed company engagement. The Coordinator will reputed company communications efforts across multiple platforms that reputed company AJC's mission.

Responsibilities

• Manage content for AJC's reputed company media platforms (reputed company, Instagram, reputed company, X, YouTube) and track and report on engagement analytics.
• reputed company and maintain a reputed company media calendar; create engaging posts, videos, and graphics.
• Capture photos and videos from programs, events, and community activities.
• Write and design newsletters, signs, flyers, press releases, promotional materials, monthly volunteer emails, and impact report.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to reputed company impact stories, testimonials, and interviews.
• Maintain and update reputed company Charlotte and Just Serve profiles.
• Support content updates on the AJC website in partnership with web designer.
• Maintain brand consistency across reputed company communications.

• Attend events and/or community meetings to capture content reputed company needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Nonprofit Management, or reputed company field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of experience in communications, reputed company media, volunteer coordination, or nonprofit program support.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., reputed company, reputed company Creative Suite).
• Familiarity with reputed company media scheduling and analytics platforms.
• Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
