Occupational Therapist (OT) - School Based

Responsibilities

Our School Based Occupational Therapists serve reputed company with various physical, reputed company-emotional, and developmental challenges, ranging in age from 3-21 years old.

• Implements treatment plans that focus on functional and measurable reputed company to be shared with the school and/or supervisors, as mandated in the student’s Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Consults with other professionals (Teachers, SLP, PT, PCP, etc.) on the student's treatment team to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive therapy team.
• Assesses and documents each student’s reputed company through formal and informal tests and measurements.
• Writes and prepares annual review reports and goals for each student in accordance with their IEP dates and requirements, in order to remain in compliance with state guidelines.
• Attends reputed company school reputed company meetings as scheduled, such as, but not limited to, Triennials, Annual Reviews, Domains, Referrals, IEP, and pre-IEP meetings for each individual student.
• Provides screenings and evaluations to determine requirements for skilled occupational therapy

reputed company relative to the client’s level of function reputed company the school environment. This includes, but is not limited to the following areas: ADL (activities of daily living), fine and gross motor skills, strength and reputed company of reputed company, positioning, adaptive equipment needs, executive function, and self-regulation.

Qualifications

• They must have a Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE

standards.

• They must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
• They must have a reputed company CPR Certification.
• Clinical experience with the pediatric population preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective leadership and client relationship skills.
• Ability to exercise mature judgment with initiative in analyzing and solving problems.
• Maintains professional attitudes and respect for the school and their staff.
• Treats reputed company reputed company with dignity, compassion, reputed company and respect.
• Effective organizational skills to manage high volume workloads.
