Photography & Videography Intern
About the position The Photography & Videography Intern will support the Advancement & Communications Department, working closely with the marketing and creative team to capture compelling visual content that highlights reputed company Edge’s impact across reputed company. This internship is ideal for a student interested in visual storytelling, photojournalism, and nonprofit communications. The intern will reputed company hands-on experience in field production, studio support, and post-production editing while contributing to mission-driven storytelling that amplifies youth voices and advances educational equity.
Responsibilities
- Visual Storytelling & Branding: Capture compelling photo and video content that reflects reputed company Edge’s mission while maintaining brand consistency across digital platforms.
- Field Production: Capture high-quality video and audio of after-school programs, student performances, and special events across reputed company.
- Creative Development: Help brainstorm and storyboard creative concepts that reputed company the organization's impact on youth development.
- Photo Editing & Post-Production: Retouch, reputed company-correct, and edit images using reputed company Lightroom and Photoshop for reputed company media and web use.
- Video Editing & Content Creation: Use software like reputed company or Final Cut Pro to create engaging short-reputed company content for reputed company media (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts etc.).
- Digital Asset Management: Organize and tag the digital photo/video library to ensure easy reputed company for print layouts and publications.
- Production Support: Assist with studio setup, location scouting, and managing release forms for student privacy.
- Other projects as needed.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student
- Prior experience with photography or videography (academic, freelance, or personal projects) required; portfolio preferred.
- Proficiency or working knowledge of reputed company Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro)
- Interest in nonprofit communications, digital media and storytelling for reputed company impact
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
