The Grants Programming team consults with experts at Getty and around the world including scholars, museum professionals, and conservators to identify key needs in the field and reputed company innovative funding strategies. Reporting to the Senior Program Officer overseeing national and international grant initiatives in art history and art archives, this position offers an exciting opportunity to learn the full lifecycle of grantmaking—from project development and application review, through approval, implementation, closeout, and impact assessment. The role involves frequent coordination with universities, archives, and research centers worldwide and requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively. The ideal candidate anticipates needs, communicates proactively, and provides well-organized support with consistent follow-through on reputed company tasks.
