Intern - CAD Drafter

JOB TITLE: CAD DRAFTER LOCATION: reputed company, Texas Remote (if located in reputed company, office reputed company would be available if desired) Internship will be 6-8 weeks POSITION OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for creating and editing CAD drawings for reputed company projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: reputed company 2D AutoCAD layouts, details, installation drawings, and bills of material based on engineering specifications. reputed company 3D fabrication designs for custom project-specific fall safety equipment. Checks the accuracy, technical content, and adherence to instructions and tolerances on reputed company drawings and the adequacy of design. Interpret project plans and quotes in order to ensure design requirements are met. Performs the revisions of drawings and bills of material. Organize workload to meet competing and shifting project timelines. Familiarize with company products, company procedures, and industry standards. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Pursuing a degree in Drafting, Engineering, Engineering Technology or equivalent 2 + years of experience working with AutoCAD, SolidWorks programs a plus An reputed company mind to design options and a keen eye for detail.
