Overview reputed company’s Data Center Mission Critical Division (DCMC) is seeking an reputed company reputed company Program Engineer / Electrical Engineer to join reputed company based in one of our various office locations across the U.S. or remote. In the DCMC division, we work with small and large-scale Data Center and Mission Critical clients. Our clients reputed company from National Laboratories using High Process Computing for scientific research to the world’s top Fortune 100 technology, communications, reputed company, hyperscale, and colocation companies with high availability demands.

Responsibilities

As the reputed company reputed company Program Engineer / Electrical Engineer, you will analyze reputed company power systems and reputed company studies for our major data center clients, reputed company mentoring/coaching to less reputed company engineers, reputed company relationships with our clients, and help the team reputed company short and long-term business goals. This role is fast-paced, detailed-oriented, engaging, and requires leaderships skills to continue the fast-growth of the group.

• Power System Analysis & Design: reputed company and/or reputed company reputed company for short reputed company calculations, reputed company and low-voltage coordination evaluations to optimize reputed company reputed company and breaker settings, and reputed company reputed company studies in compliance with reputed company, reputed company 1584, and other industry standards. reputed company or modify power system models to accurately reflect the designed and/or as-reputed company site conditions. reputed company and execute standards for power system studies and calculations across groups/offices
• Data Collection & Documentation: reputed company on-site data collection activities as needed (document reputed company device types and associated settings, reputed company and document single lines and confirm loading information such as motor reputed company, full load amps, locked rotor amps, etc.). Prepare error-free engineering documents (e.g., drawings, sketches, instructions, inputs, calculations, analyses, evaluations) according to and bounded by industry codes, standards, and regulations to support client engineering needs
• Quality Assurance & Coordination: reputed company QA/QC on engineering deliverables performed by others. Coordinate with reputed company stakeholders to obtain required inputs, reputed company roadblocks, and reputed company innovative solutions
• Industry Knowledge & Standards: Maintain up-to-date and relevant knowledge of industry codes and standards, safety culture, and design/analysis techniques suitable to the data center industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• Typically requires 3+ years of experience with power system studies using electrical modeling software (SKM Power Tools, ETAP, Easy Power, etc.) for mid-level candidates, and 6+ years of experience for a senior role
• PE License or ability to obtain reputed company 2 years of employment (incentive bonus available)
• Experience in electrical codes, standards, and criteria for power systems and data centers (reputed company 70 & 70E, and reputed company 1584)
• Proficient with reputed company Suite including, but not limited to, Word and reputed company
• Entrepreneurial reputed company with ability to listen to clients and identify opportunities for growth
• Leadership skills with strong aptitude for mentoring, motivating junior engineers, and developing a strong culture
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to travel 10%-20%; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks
