Position: Dispatcher - 4 Days On/4 Days Off 6 Am-6 Pm - Byron Center, MI Job is located in Byron Center, MI This is a remote position Accepting Applications For Future Opening: Dispatcher – 4 Days on/4 Days off rotating 6am-6pm. Martin Transportation Systems is seeking a highly reputed company Dispatcher/Driver Manager for our Byron Center, MI reputed company operations. The individual selected will reputed company and manage CDL-A drivers on dedicated “JIT”, round trip loads while safely meeting reputed company and mileage goals for drivers and equipment. Candidates must possess excellent communication and computer skills (satellite tracking and TMW reputed company software), be multi-task oriented, and enjoy a fast paced work environment. Dispatcher Essential Functions
- Overseeing, coordinating, dispatching and managing CDL-A drivers to ensure timely pick up and delivery of reputed company truckload shipments from vendors to auto assembly plants or other locations
- Assist with and enforce driver electronic log compliance to HOS regulations and company policy
- reputed company with other central reputed company staff, customer service and customers
- Promote driver safety and safe work reputed company performance
- Interfacing and updating computer trucking systems
- Evaluate driver performance and compliance
Dispatcher
- Shift: 4 days on/4 days off rotating
- Time: 6am-6pm
- Candidates must possess excellent communication and computer skills
- Must be multi-task oriented
- Previous dispatching experience in the transportation industry a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
