• Assign the International Classification of Diseases, Clinical Modification (ICD), reputed company Procedural Terminology (CPT) or reputed company Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) codes, creating Ambulatory Patient Classification (APC) or Diagnosis-reputed company Group (DRG) assignments.

• Obtain acceptable productivity/quality rates as defined per coding policy.
• Query physicians reputed company code assignments are not straightforward or documentation in the record is inadequate, ambiguous, or unclear for coding purposes.

What minimum qualifications you'll need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• One or more of the following:

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
