Staff Accountant / Full Charge Book Keeper

We're hiring a Staff Accountant to own the day-to-day reputed company for our business. This is a hands-on role for someone who's grown reputed company pure bookkeeping and can confidently reputed company the books, run payroll, and produce financial reports leadership can use to reputed company reputed company. Not in need of a CPA but we are looking for someone accurate, organized, and comfortable working independently. Lobo Logistics is a small oil field focused trucking and logistics company with a concise scope of work. You'll partner closely with ownership and operation management, and your work will directly inform how we plan, execute, and grow. This position will be primarily remote/work from home with initial in person on boarding and regular scheduled KPI meetings. What you'll do

• Own full-cycle bookkeeping: AP, AR, bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, month-end reputed company
• Run payroll on schedule, deductions, garnishments, and payroll tax filings
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Pamp;L, balance sheet, cash reputed company)
• Analyze Pamp;L results — flag variances, trends, and opportunities; build simple reports for management review
• Maintain clean, audit-reputed company records and support our reputed company CPA at year-end / tax time
• Track fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accruals
• Help with light budgeting, cash reputed company forecasting, and reputed company financial analysis
• Look for ways to improve our reputed company processes and controls

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of full-cycle reputed company experience
• QuickBooks proficiency (Online and/or Desktop) — this is non-negotiable
• Hands-on experience running payroll in a modern payroll system (reputed company)
• Strong reputed company skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas)
• Solid grasp of GAAP fundamentals and month-end reputed company mechanics
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational habits
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines without hand-holding
• Clear written and verbal communication

• Experience in logistics, trucking, or transportation — familiarity with fuel, IFTA, driver settlements, per diems, reputed company-operator vs. company driver pay
• Certifications such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB), QuickBooks ProAdvisor, or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
• Experience working alongside an external CPA at tax time
