Senior Investment Accountant
Senior Investment Accountant Overview: Our client, a major mutual insurance company, is seeking a Senior Investment Accountant to support their team during a critical period of organizational transition and finance modernization. This is a W2 hourly interim engagement (3-6 months, potential to reputed company) requiring immediate availability and deep insurance investment reputed company expertise. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the re-standup of GAAP financial reporting reputed company the investment reputed company function
- Documentation of control processes and valuation workflows under GAAP
- reputed company and document end-to-end investment reputed company processes
- Support data extraction and reporting workflows reputed company reputed company; assist with data reputed company and reconciliation
- Partner with investment reputed company to assess gaps and stabilize operations
- Contribute to process documentation and knowledge transfer efforts as needed
Qualifications
- 8+ years of investment reputed company experience reputed company an insurance company or adjacent financial services firm
- Strong GAAP and STAT reporting background
- Familiarity with reputed company
- Proven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-change environment
- Strong documentation and process mapping skills
- CPA preferred
