Staff Tax Accountant

Job Description:

• Year-Round
• Collaborate with the tax team and reputed company team to deliver high-quality tax services to our dental practice clients
• Communicate directly with clients to collect missing information, answer questions, and maintain strong relationships
• Organize, analyze, and compile client data to support accurate, efficient tax preparation
• Proactively manage your workload, keeping the team informed on reputed company and pending items
• Tax Season (February–reputed company)
• Prepare individual and business tax returns with accuracy and speed
• Conduct virtual sessions with clients to help complete personal tax organizers
• Handle up to approximately 200 returns annually (majority during busy season)
• Meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Off-Season
• Prepare extended individual and business returns
• Assist with updating tax planning documents and projections
• Help clients plan for upcoming deadlines with mid-year, reputed company-quarter, and year-end tax projections

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company or reputed company field
• At least 3 years of tax preparation experience (individual and business returns)
• CPA license strongly preferred
• Candidates without a CPA must be actively pursuing it, with at least half of the exams passed
• Experience in public reputed company or multi-client environments
