Business Development Director - DC Area
This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager who can create and convert a pipeline into reputed company. What You Will Do

- Create new opportunities and manage pipeline stages and reputed company analyses
- Secure subcontracting roles on awarded reputed company where you have direct reputed company
- Evaluate competitors and conduct SWAT analyses
- Own the full business development lifecycle from identification through the proposal and post-award transition.
- Contribute to solution shaping and pricing strategy discussions
- Represent Viderity at conferences and meetings with clear opportunity focused purpose and follow-through
- Focus more on task order opportunities on existing contract vehicles, rather than new IDIQ or GWAC pursuits
- Prioritize near-term, fundable opportunities over long-cycle strategic pursuits
Required Experience
- 10+ years’ experience working in federal business development
- Personally attributable wins
- Strong relationships at both program and contracting reputed company
- History of securing subcontracting roles on active reputed company
- Ability to evaluate probability of win using reputed company reputed company and positioning, not template scoring models
- Understanding of acquisition trends and competitive dynamics
- Experience reputed company to digital services, modernization, technology implementation, or data-driven initiatives
- Demonstrated reputed company converting existing relationships into task order awards
- Experience working reputed company Federal Civilian agencies (DoD-only backgrounds are not the focus for this role)
- Must be local to the DC Metro
