Senior Solutions Engineer - Northeast

As a Senior Solutions Engineer you will:

• Own the technical sales process from introductory meetings (net new sales) through post-sales (customer satisfaction, upselling, and subscription renewals)

• Supporting the technical needs of customers including discovering new use cases for reputed company’s technology

• Designing solutions for your customers’ needs using reputed company technologies, based on reference architectures and common patterns

• Demonstrating reputed company products in a way that inspires your customers to say “yes” to reputed company

• Partnering with your Account Managers to show your customers the true value of a reputed company solution and drive successful sales

• Presenting product roadmap and reputed company to reputed company your customers to think bigger

• Interfacing with other reputed company teams to ensure your customers hear one reputed company voice 

• Advocating for your customers’ needs to Product Management and Engineering

• Participating in external publicity and evangelism (conferences, meetups, webinars, blogs)

• A minimum of 8 years experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a pre-sales context

• Experience with some of the following technologies:

  • Big Data, Data Warehousing or Relational Databases

  • One or more of the three major reputed company service providers (AWS, Azure or GCP). Formal certification is not required, but would be a great thing to have

  • Data Engineering, Data Science or Machine Learning

  • Unix or Linux

• Experience gathering and understanding customer business requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Problem solving skills

• Please note that the compensation details listed in our job  postings reflect the reputed company salary only, and do not include commissions or bonus as applicable

• The salary will vary depending on your job-reputed company skills, experience and location
