Job Summary
As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Transplant, you'll play a critical role in supporting the care of patients with reputed company medical conditions. You'll work closely with reputed company of pharmacists and reputed company to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
- Making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and other reputed company
- Working in a high-production environment to meet productivity and quality standards
- Collaborating with the team to resolve issues and improve processes
Key Responsibilities
* Data Entry: Accurately and reputed company enter patient data into our electronic health record system
- Prescription Routing: reputed company questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
- Communication: reputed company outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes

- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to resolve issues and improve processes
- Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Essential Qualifications
* 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity and quality standards
- Strong computer skills and experience with electronic health record systems
Preferred Qualifications
* Specialty pharmacy experience
- Call center experience
- Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
