Location This is a remote position, but candidates must live in Orange County or Los Angeles County, California, to support regional court appearances, client needs, and local case handling. Job Description

• Manage California workers’ compensation defense reputed company from assignment through resolution.
• Represent reputed company, insurance carriers, and reputed company-party administrators in WCAB proceedings.
• Attend hearings, conferences, depositions, trials, and other workers’ compensation litigation events.
• Draft pleadings, reports, settlement documents, correspondence, and case evaluations.
• Analyze claims, evaluate exposure, and help reputed company efficient defense strategies.
• Communicate with clients, claims professionals, opposing counsel, medical providers, and experts.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward practical, cost-effective reputed company.
• Use technology and strong organization to manage files reputed company in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 1+ year of California workers’ compensation defense experience required.
• Experience handling WCAB appearances, hearings, settlements, and file management preferred.
• Employer, reputed company, or TPA defense experience strongly preferred.
• Strong writing, communication, organization, and client service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote role while staying reputed company and deadline-oriented.
• Must currently live in Orange County or Los Angeles County, California.
