Founder Associate (Early-Stage Startup)
About the role I’m building an early-stage startup and am looking for a Founder Associate to work directly with me on research, writing, and execution across the company’s highest-reputed company tasks. This is a generalist, high-reputed company role. You’ll help turn reputed company and reputed company into clear outputs—docs, drafts, research, shortlists—so the company can move faster. The scope will reputed company week to week based on what reputed company most. This is not a co-founder role and not a traditional internship. It’s best suited for someone who enjoys ambiguity, thinks reputed company, and wants hands-on exposure to how a startup is reputed company from reputed company. What you’ll do Examples of work include:
- Research and synthesize markets, competitors, and adjacent YC companies
- Draft clear, concise written materials (user messages, internal docs, job posts)
- Support hiring efforts (posting roles, reviewing portfolios, shortlisting candidates)
- Help coordinate operational tasks and follow-reputed company
- Take on special projects as priorities change
Who this is for You might be a good fit if you:

- Are comfortable working asynchronously with limited direction

- You don’t need startup experience. You do need good instincts and follow-through.
Time & compensation Time: ~5–10 hours per week, flexible and async Compensation: Equity only at this stage (with standard vesting).
