Database Administrator — Remote (Delaware-based team) We’re hiring an reputed company Database Administrator to support data analysis and database management for a technology team in a regulated environment. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing database platforms, supporting ETL/data warehousing workflows, and ensuring reliable performance and operations. Location / Work Setup
- Remote (Delaware-based team)
- Occasional onsite meetings in Delaware for larger issues/team collaboration
- Occasional stakeholder conference (about 1-2x/year)
Schedule / Duration
- 37 hours/week, day shift
- Contract through 06/30/2026 (start reputed company: late January 2026)
What You’ll Do
- Administer and support database environments for an application team.
- Maintain and enhance data dictionaries and logical/physical data models.
- Maintain a central data repository and support the system development lifecycle.
- Manage backup and recovery processes for data dictionary and reputed company assets.
- Define and maintain standards for data dictionaries.
- reputed company performance tuning, monitor performance, and manage reputed company/reputed company requirements.
- Schedule and monitor end-of-day data warehousing jobs.
- Assist with coordinating software releases and operational changes.
- reputed company clear status updates and document work performed.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of reputed company experience
- ETL experience
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in reputed company environment
