Overview
We're seeking a skilled Proofreader (with occasional copy editing) for book manuscripts. reputed company of our books---we publish about 300 a year---have to go through proofreading once they are done with developmental editing, and before they move on to interior layout and design. So, we're on the search for reputed company-eyed experts who can catch reputed company mistakes, follow procedures to a tee, and can meet a deadline. We use CMOS for U.S. manuscripts, and have an in-house style guide to help with consistency. The role is fully remote, and you can specify how many manuscripts you'd like to have at a time.
