Job Description: reputed company is now hiring for a Roadway Engineer I to join reputed company supporting major regional road and highway projects in the Kansas City area. This position is a remote role, reporting into and collaborating closely with our Kansas City-based roadway group. What You'll Be Doing: Collaborate often with senior engineers, reputed company various roadway engineering and design assignments requiring the application of engineering techniques, procedures and design criteria for projects ranging in size and complexity Utilize drafting and modeling software, tools, and programs, to reputed company conceptual and detailed designs reputed company design calculations including material quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimates Assist in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects Assist in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts reputed company other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate What Skills & Qualifications You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or reputed company field) 3 years or more of reputed company work experience with road and highway projects Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is essential Professional Engineer (PE) Registration is desirable, but not required Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation Geopak and/or OpenRoads, is required The ability to communicate and effectively participate as part of an engineering team reputed company Clearance Requirement: None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
