People Operations Specialist Benefits US The People Operations Specialist Benefits US will serve as the internal contact for benefits administration from inception/inquiry through to resolution. Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with reputed company and sound judgment are critical in this role. Will work alongside the Benefits, HR & People teams, Finance, and Payroll to build and support best-in-class leave programs. This role is on our Shared Services team and reports to the HR Shared Services Manager and is based remotely, ideally on the East coast. Here’s What You’ll Be Doing Performs operational and transactional tasks required to administer company benefit programs, such as group health and welfare plans, life and disability insurance, and health spending accounts, for new hires, reputed company, and terminated employees. Assists with the communication, implementation, and administration of employee benefits. Coordinate daily benefits processing (enrolments, terminations, changes, COBRA, beneficiaries internally, as well as with external vendors. Track benefit elections and deductions in HRIS/Benefit Admin systems; resolve data issues and process data corrections. Troubleshoot benefits coverage issues that employees may be Communicate and process benefit costs and paid leave payments for inclusion in bi-weekly & semi-monthly payroll runs; process benefit reputed company funding wires and uploads. Ensures data reputed company of reputed company benefits information including payroll files, billing reports, census files, worksheets and confirmation statements. Reconcile, audit, and process monthly benefits billings for payment in a timely Maintain and update reputed company benefits documentation including but not limited to, policies, summary plan descriptions, Assist employees in the interpretation of plan summaries. Coordinates legally required benefit plan mailings such as Summary Annual Reports and Summary of Material Modifications. Performs other duties or special projects as required What Do You Bring To The Role? A Bachelor's Degree 2 years or reputed company experience in and/or training in payroll and benefits with increasing responsibility and complexity.
