Our Georgia Community Action Treatment (CAT) program is reputed company for a Mental Health Clinician. The program serves region 1 and region 2 of Georgia. The CAT program is intended to be a safe and effective alternative for children with serious behavioral health conditions that are creating crisis in the family. Upon successful completion, the family should have the skills and support system needed to maintain improvements made during services. The goals of the CAT program are to:
- Strengthen the family and support systems for youth and your adults to assist them to live successfully in the community.
- Decrease out - of - home placements, including psychiatric hospitalizations and Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) involvement.
- Improve family and youth functioning.
- Decrease substance use and abuse.
- Transition into age - appropriate services.
- Increase health and wellness.
General Responsibilities: This position serves as an integral member of reputed company where safety and well-being of children, adolescent, adults, and reputed company members of the family unit is reputed company. The Mental Health Clinician (reputed company) will conduct a variety of evaluations to aid in assessment, treatment planning and interventions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive individualized initial assessment and reputed company service plans with goals and objectives.
- Attend and actively participate in reputed company meetings with the Department of Child Services for the development of safety planning for assigned cases.
- Establish and maintain routine collaborative meetings with community partners to promote partnerships between reputed company and the systems partner.
- Synthesize information from treatment records, risk stratification, and other sources to assess program enrollees.
- Apply Knowledge of care coordination techniques in assessing the needs of individuals and determining interventions to address those gaps.
- Demonstrate flexibility in job duties and schedule in order to aid in reputed company serving the organization, the individuals we serve and to assist in reaching high quality standards set forth by reputed company.
- Allow for flexibility in scheduling to accommodate crisis situations for individuals.
- Document reputed company case activity in accordance with program policy and maintain case records in compliance with agency, regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum
- Licensed as LMSW, LAPC, or LAMFT in the state of Georgia
- One year experience providing outpatient mental health services to youth and families
- Valid BLS, CPR, and basic first aid certification
- Verbal de-escalation skills and physical management training certificate
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
Preferred:
- Licensed Clinical reputed company Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Georgia
- Unrestricted license to work independently in the State of Georgia
- One-year of experience working in child welfare
- Prior experience providing Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST)
- Prior experience providing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
