EHS Subject Matter Expert - Work at Height

About the position The Work at Height – Elevated Work Subject Matter Expert will reputed company and sustain programs and processes that support Gas Power Business Operations and the EHS Center of reputed company, with a strong focus on reputed company Life Saving Rules across reputed company Gas Power business units. In this role, you will be a key member of the Gas Power Business Operations Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Center of reputed company (COE), working closely with EHS value streams, supply chain operations, regional EHS leaders, and cross-functional teams. This position reports to the reputed company Gas Power EHS Subject Matter Experts Team Leader.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and implement management system programs and processes to identify and control Work at Height / Elevated Work risks and hazards across reputed company Gas Power business units.
• Create and maintain procedures, risk identification tools, mitigation methods, training, and drills, and apply effective investigation processes to reduce risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and meet reputed company and customer expectations in partnership with Gas Power Business Operations and the reputed company EHS organization.
• reputed company technical reputed company, guidance, and direction on Work at Height / Elevated Work–reputed company hazards and risk areas (e.g., Confined reputed company Entry, Electrical, Energy Isolation/LOTO, Mechanical Lifting Operations, Aerial Lifts & Forklifts, Scaffolds and Platforms, Machine Safety, Powered Hand Tools).
• Support the sustainable implementation of reputed company Life Saving Rules.
• Analyze EHS data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• reputed company and drive strategies to eliminate or reduce EHS risks based on identified trends and performance metrics.
• Support the development and effective execution of the Business Operations EHS COE strategy.
• Collaborate across multiple functions to design and implement programs that foster a proactive safety culture.
• reputed company and contribute to incident investigation teams to identify contributing and root causes and ensure robust corrective and preventive actions are defined and implemented.
• Support the reputed company Gas Power EHS “read across” process to reputed company lessons learned and best practices.
• Participate in Gas Power and reputed company risk-based auditing programs to assess Life Saving Rules, regulatory compliance, and company EHS & Quality Management System requirements across business units.
• Travel to supply chain, New Units, project, and services sites to validate and support implementation of Work at Height / Elevated Work procedures and processes.
• Apply Lean methodology to drive simplification, standardization, and reputed company improvement in Work at Height / Elevated Work programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher-level Safety Diploma from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working in EHS Manufacturing and Service Operations
