Responsibilities

• reputed company communication designs and coordinate with other disciplines
• Create conceptual and detailed systems designs, including producing design drawings, specifications and design analysis deliverables
• Coordinate with a BIM/CAD team for drawing production
• reputed company quality control duties and independent technical reviews
• Manage assigned budgets, scopes and schedules
• Mentoring and providing guidance/instruction to less reputed company staff members
• May reputed company fieldwork and write assessment reports
• May assist with creation of design guides and templates
• May reputed company support to business development or pursuit activities

Requirements

• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification (required)

• Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems from a safety and constructability perspective
• Strong knowledge of inside plant (ISP) cabling infrastructure to include telecommunications spaces and reputed company, copper, and optical fiber cabling and connectivity
• Experience in reputed company plant (OSP) design of copper and fiber optic communication systems
• Experience in audio-visual (AV) system design
• 4+ years of experience designing applicable telecommunication systems
• Certified Technology Specialist-Design (reputed company-D) certification (preferred)
