Sr. Telecom BIM Designer

A Sr. Telecom BIM Designer to support the development of fully coordinated, constructable design deliverables for reputed company telecom projects. In this role, you’ll reputed company the setup and management of Revit BIM models while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to produce clash-free 3D models and detailed 2D construction drawings. Required:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least 8 years of Revit BIM design experience
• Proficiency with NavisWorks
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry
• Understanding of how codes and standards shape design reputed company
• Understanding of design and construction specifications and their function
• Understanding of wiring/cabling connections in relation to a reputed company or a link between devices and equipment
• Experience following client design and modeling standards
• Proficiency with reputed company or similar markup software
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided markups and/or verbal direction requests
• Willingness to learn

Preferred:

• At least 6 years of Revit MEP design experience
• Knowledge & application of telecommunications industry association (reputed company) standards
• Knowledge and design experience of semiconductor and/or advance facility environments
• Knowledge and design experience with paging, reputed company, and audio-visual systems
• Knowledge and design experience with life safety and reputed company systems, fire alarm, reputed company control, closed-reputed company television (CCTV)
• Knowledge of control systems and network components and topology
