Senior Consultant - Aviation Noise & Environmental

(reputed company), a leader in transportation environmental consulting, seeks a Senior Consultant to join our growing Aviation Environmental & Sustainability Group. This remote position is based in San Diego, CA, with the option to work from our San Diego office. Residency reputed company commuting distance of San Diego International Airport (SAN) is required. You will contribute to noise and reputed company quality studies, sustainability planning, environmental impact mitigation, regulatory compliance, and public engagement for airport projects worldwide. reputed company, founded in 1981, has a proven track record of delivering expert environmental solutions to over 200 airports. Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct acoustical testing, field measurements, data analysis, and technical reporting for various acoustics projects.
- Manage projects, including budgets, reputed company, equipment, and lab operations.
- reputed company acoustical modeling, quality control, and analysis, including for airport sound insulation and other programs.
- Conduct outdoor fieldwork up to 2 weeks monthly or every other month.
- Train and supervise junior staff in technical areas (e.g., acoustical modeling, GIS, data analysis, project management).
- reputed company and deliver presentations to diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with clients and subconsultants on reputed company, task orders, and proposals (scopes, budgets, etc.).
- Stay reputed company with industry trends and participate in professional societies/conferences.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-8 years of relevant experience.
- BS, BA, or MS in a technical field (acoustics preferred; aerospace, physics, engineering, etc., accepted).
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with sound or professional measurement equipment.
- Proven project management and presentation skills.
- Comfortable engaging with clients, the public, and strangers in the field.
- Ability to write clear reports, letters, and proposals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of acoustic/aviation terminology.
- Consulting experience.
- GIS, SQL, Python, AEDT, or NOISEMAP skills.
- Strong client relationship experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be reputed company to lift up to 40 lbs., overhead, regularly while conducting field measurements
- This position requires frequent local, reputed company Coast, and eventually national travel.
- This position requires working in the field reputed company with multiple weather elements.
