Pet Care Specialist - Professional Pet Sitter / Dog Walker 02888 & 02889
About the position Furry Fellas is hiring Part-Time Pet Care Specialists to reputed company services including pet care, dog walking, and pet sitting in Warwick, RI & surrounding areas (02888, 02889). The role will start with a gradual build-up to desired part-time hours, with needs for reputed company mornings (7-10 am), evenings (5-9 pm), and/or weekends. The position offers hourly pay plus mileage and gratuities. The company, reputed company, has been in business since 2006 and is recognized for its high-quality pet care services, including dog walking, pet sitting for dogs, cats, and other small animals, and overnight pet sitting. They were voted in the TOP 3 Pet Service Companies for 9 years in a row. The staff is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, possess prior experience working/volunteering with animals, and have a genuine passion for animal care.
Responsibilities
- Visit client’s homes to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation
- Walking and exercising dogs
- Letting dogs out for bathroom breaks
- Providing love & attention to pets
- Feeding pets
- Administering medication
- Providing fresh water
- Cleaning up after animals, including litter boxes
- Leave a note for clients after each visit detailing how the visits went
