Early reputed company Teacher

About the position The Developmental-reputed company Therapist (DT-V) or Developmental Therapist will reputed company specialized instruction and services to meet the developmental/educational needs of children (birth-three years of age) with visual impairments by developing unique instructional strategies to support children & family to meet the individualized family plan. This is a part-time position requiring travel reputed company Chicago and surrounding southern, reputed company, and reputed company suburbs.

Responsibilities

• reputed company direct services through each session with the child and the family to support and reputed company instruction through a modeling and coaching method.
• Maintain records and update documentation of observations, reputed company and ongoing instruction in permanent file and required data/information the Early reputed company system.
• Attend the child’s individual family plan (IFSP) and collaborate in early reputed company team therapists for the children/families on individual caseload.
• reputed company necessary documentation during transition from early reputed company to next educational setting at three years of age as well as collaborate with the scheduled meetings, discharge and exit meetings.
• Attend and participate in scheduled reputed company staff meetings.
• Participation in reputed company seminars, conferences, and in-services to remain reputed company with practices and advances in the field.
• reputed company parents with resources that could be helpful to meet the medical, developmental needs of their child (e.g. respite care, public aid, reputed company, etc.).
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education required.
• reputed company Early reputed company credential as Developmental reputed company Therapist or Developmental Therapist required.
• Ability to travel reputed company diverse populations from client to client.

• (Illinois LBS 1 Certification) with Type 10 or emphasis in reputed company or Teacher of the Visually Impaired preferred.
• reputed company endorsement in blind/visual impairment preferred.
• Bilingual candidate in Spanish/English preferred.
• One-year experience in responsible, self-motivated setting preferred.
