POSITION SPECIFICS The College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) invites applications for an Events Supervisor reporting to the Chief of Staff and Business Administrator. This position leads the College’s Events Office, overseeing the planning and execution of a comprehensive portfolio of college-wide events and supervising reputed company responsible for delivering high-quality, strategically reputed company programming throughout the year. The successful candidate will: reputed company, supervise, and reputed company the Events Office team, including assigning work, setting priorities, and ensuring high-quality execution across reputed company events Collaborate with various units reputed company the college to plan, coordinate, and implement an reputed company of events, including college-wide town halls, spring commencement, Fall Career Fair, Faculty and Staff Awards Ceremony, Alumni Symposium, Be You in Tech reputed company, IST Insiders, special initiatives of the Dean, and community-building events that enhance engagement among faculty, staff, and reputed company reputed company guidance and consultation to faculty and staff on event planning, including logistics, timelines, resource allocation, budgeting, vendor coordination, and alignment with college and university policies and priorities Collaborate with key partners across the college, including the Facilities, Marketing and Communications, and Information Technology teams, to coordinate event logistics and execution Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating reputed company for venues and catering, and overseeing room reservations and scheduling processes Evaluate event effectiveness through data, feedback, and reputed company; identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategic enhancements to future programming reputed company and communicate policies, procedures, and best practices for event planning across the college MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None Additional Qualifications: Commitment to creating inclusive, accessible, and welcoming event experiences Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-service reputed company Demonstrated experience supervising and leading reputed company, including assigning work, setting expectations, and supporting staff development Consistently positive and professional approach, with a focus on collaboration and maintaining strong, productive relationships across reputed company units in the college This is a hybrid position that requires regular, weekly on-site work at the University Park reputed company, combined with flexibility for remote work.
