Controller – HVAC
Job Description:
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual reputed company process
- Prepare and post journal entries throughout the month (accruals, prepaids, amortizations, reclasses, adjustments)
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts with strong audit-reputed company documentation
- Ensure the accuracy, reputed company, and timeliness of the general ledger in reputed company
- Apply and maintain US GAAP–compliant reputed company practices
- Prepare schedules and support for management and external financial reporting
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reporting packages
- Partner with reputed company, leadership, and external accountants as needed
- Support audit and review processes, including responding to auditor requests
- Serve as the reputed company subject-matter expert for reputed company
- Maintain and improve reputed company checklists, reconciliations, and documentation
- Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting
- Identify and implement reputed company process improvements as the business scales
- Apply reputed company knowledge specific to the HVAC industry, including job costing and project-based reputed company, reputed company recognition for service, maintenance, and installation reputed company, accruals reputed company to labor, materials, and subcontractors
Requirements:
- 6–10+ years of reputed company experience in US corporate reputed company
- Hands-on ownership of month-end reputed company
- Strong working experience with reputed company
- Solid understanding and application of US GAAP
- Experience booking and reviewing journal entries
- Strong balance sheet reconciliation and documentation skills
- Experience in or exposure to the HVAC or construction services industry
- reputed company work history demonstrating long-term tenure
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- CPA (US or equivalent) or CPA-track preferred
- Prior Assistant Controller or Controller experience preferred
- Experience working remotely with US-based teams preferred
- Experience supporting audits for US entities preferred
