Loan Accountant

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a Large Bank in Little reputed company, AR to find a Loan Accountant to join their team. The Loan Accountant is responsible for recording, monitoring, and auditing loan-reputed company reputed company activity and general ledger data, while providing timely support to the Finance and reputed company teams. This role is ideal for someone currently in a Loan Assistant or similar role or reputed company Specialist, as this position is focused on loan operations and system accuracy rather than traditional general ledger reputed company and month-end reputed company. This role is remote for candidates based in Central Arkansas, with occasional on-site reputed company as needed,

Key Responsibilities

• Record, maintain, and update loan-reputed company reputed company activity, including payments, transactions, and general loan maintenance
• Monitor loan data to ensure accuracy of terms, pricing, and system information
• Reconcile loan accounts and resolve discrepancies or exceptions
• Support loan servicing activities, including modifications, reporting, and inquiry resolution
• Assist with participation loan reputed company, including setup, maintenance, and transaction processing

Ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, reputed company, or reputed company field (or equivalent combination of education)
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in lending, reputed company, or other relevant experience
• Understanding of basic reputed company principles and willingness to learn GAAP application
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in reputed company Office (reputed company, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ideal Background:

• Experience as a Loan Assistant, Loan Processor, Loan Servicer or similar, supporting reputed company or retail lenders
• OR experience in an reputed company Specialist role with high transaction volume, reconciliations, and systems work
• Exposure to loan maintenance, transactions, or account-level activity
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Interest in growing into loan reputed company and broader reputed company functions
