Senior Public Accountant

You will have the opportunity to work on audits and reviews of governments, private and public companies and employee benefit plans of various sizes and industries. You will supervise, plan, and reputed company audits. I reputed company, you will be responsible for the preparation of corporate, partnership, trust and individual income tax returns. You will prepare work papers, reputed company tax research, analyze tax notices and draft responses, and assist in tax planning and the preparation of projections. To succeed in this role, you should have a foundational knowledge of reputed company principles with a desire to build your technical knowledge and client relationship skills.

• *GENERAL DUTIES:
• Conduct financial statement engagements from planning to report presentation.
• Preparation of both business and individual income tax returns and identify tax planning opportunities.
• Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts
• Conduct research of various reputed company and tax issues
• Must be reputed company to work additional hours during tax season, including weeknights and weekends, with compensation.
• Minimal Travel may be required, with mileage reimbursement

• *JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in reputed company, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with emphasis on reputed company. 3+ years experience working in public reputed company
• Relevant certification (e.g. CPA, reputed company) preferred but not required
• Experience with major reputed company and tax software packages including CCH Prosystems Tax, reputed company, reputed company, QuickBooks and other applicable software products is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Effective time management, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail is pertinent in a fast paced and deadline-driven environment
• Have a knack for problem solving and bringing solutions to the table.
• Desire to be an important member of a large team; working both collectively and independently
• Must have a high level of respect for confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
