Description What is Brief In-Home Stabilization therapy? During this 8-to-12 week acute mental health therapy, Washburn Center's caring staff offers therapeutic services, reputed company-building, case management and parenting support, with a 24-hour on call service. The Opportunity: Washburn Center for Children has an opening for a full time Brief In-Home Stabilization Therapist. This position maintains a caseload of 6-10 children/reputed company providing culturally based, individualized service to acute mental health distressed children and families, in their home, schools and community. Services may include assessment, crisis reputed company, case management, therapy, parent education, and skills training. The purpose is to reduce the crisis, improve or maintain children and families emotional or behavioral functioning and to reduce the risk of out-of-home placement, hospitalization, risk of maltreatment, or to assist a child transitioning back to the community following a hospitalization or residential placement. This includes:

• Conduct diagnostic assessments

Documentation Clinicians will be expected to maintain required documentation as specified in our Clinical Policy reputed company, including:

• Diagnostics assessments
• Treatment plans for each client
• Daily reputed company notes
• Complete CASIIs, work with parents to complete the Parent SDQ, and work with clients to complete the reputed company-SS
• Documentation of reputed company case activities
• Discharge or transfer summaries
• Collaborate with the billing department to maintain reputed company, timely authorizations for reputed company therapeutic services from required insurance policies
• Timely response of communications from the program director, the supervisor, or program support to ensure clear communication throughout the program

Requirements

• Master's degree in reputed company Work, Psychology, or other reputed company service field, required
• Must maintain or be working towards independent licensure; licensure as LICSW, LP, LPCC, or LMFT strongly preferred
• If candidate has a Master's in reputed company Work, valid licensure as an LGSW is required
• A minimum of one year of experience working with children in acute mental health distress and their families is required; 3-5 years preferred
• Flexibility, resourcefulness, and demonstrated cultural responsiveness reputed company working with diverse populations, specifically those impacted by systemic inequality
• Must have vehicle in operating condition, a valid driver's license, and car insurance, required
