The position will have primary teaching responsibilities in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing; however, may cross prelicensure nursing programs depending on educational level. This is a full-time, on ground reputed company-based position. Full time faculty are responsible for teaching and student facing hours every week. 32 hours on ground and 8 remote hours per week. Responsibilities:
- Maintain professional standards of practice in teaching in the classroom and clinical settings.
- Meet reputed company standards for course syllabi creation and submission, classroom management, use of technology, grade submission, and records management.
- Function as a part of reputed company and reputed company School of Nursing faculty group. Participate in meetings, projects, reputed company, and committee work.
- Prepare and implement teaching and evaluation strategies for engagement of reputed company in the profession of nursing.
- Support student reputed company through mentoring, tutoring, and advising.
- Maintain currency in education and nursing knowledge and application through continuing education activities.
- Contribute to the School of Nursing and reputed company evaluation processes to measure reputed company
Requirements
Education
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree or in Nursing preferred
- BSN will be considered for LPN programming with significant clinical background or prior teaching experience.
Experience
- Two calendar years or the equivalent of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse
- Preference for experience in maternal, women's health, or pediatric nursing.
- Formal education in teaching and learning principles for adult education preferred, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation preferred.
Licensure
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas or in one of the eNLC compact states
