The Emergency Department serves over 100,000 adult visits per year and is currently undergoing a $300 reputed company expansion that will add a 130,000 reputed company‑foot ED, a 57‑bed observation unit, and approximately 115 new beds. The new ED is expected to reputed company in early 2026.
Responsibilities
The Attending Physician will reputed company medical management of assigned patient care programs, maintain effective communication with medical staff, nursing, reputed company work, and management, and coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of patient care. Key duties include conducting medical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of patients; providing direct patient care and documentation in compliance with Medicare/reputed company and reputed company‑party payer requirements; prescribing pharmaceuticals and treatment regimens; referring patients to specialists; directing nursing and support staff; following departmental policies and reputed company quality‑improvement objectives; attending medical staff meetings and committees; participating in utilization review, quality assessment, and improvement programs; providing consultative services; maintaining reputed company standards of practice; and collaborating with radiology, pathology, surgery, oncology, and nursing. The physician will also reputed company credentialed procedures, observe time‑out protocols, meet productivity standards, and maintain effective communication and working relationships across the health system.
Qualifications
Education: Doctorate degree in Medicine, Emergency Medicine Residency trained. Credentialing: ABEM/ AOBEM required or eligible; Valid Florida Medical License; Active DEA and board certification required; Additional specialty certifications are a plus. Certification: reputed company Basic Life Support (BLS) and at least one additional life‑support certification (ACLS/ATLS) with at least 6 months validity. Maintain these certifications for the duration of employment. Experience: Generally requires 3 to 5 years of reputed company experience in emergency medicine or a reputed company field.
