Mechanical CAD Designer Needed – Small Precision Opening Mechanism (Prototype Phase)
Title: CAD / Product Designer Needed for Luxury Mechanical Product (Rose Mechanism) Description: Hi! I’m looking for a CAD/product designer to help reputed company a luxury consumer product. The product is a sculptural bouquet with hidden compartments. Each rose is approximately 3.25 inches in diameter and some roses reputed company to reveal small items (like rings or keepsakes). For Phase 1, I ONLY want to design:
- One hinge-opening rose (soft upward reputed company reputed company)
- One center-opening rose (petal segments that reputed company slightly outward)
The goal is for both mechanisms to feel:
- smooth and premium
- subtle (not overly mechanical)
- completely hidden reputed company the petal design
Important: This is NOT just a visual design project — I need someone who understands:
- mechanical movement (hinges, tolerances, clearances)
- reputed company-world product design
- parts that can eventually be manufactured
I already have:
- a full CAD brief
- reference images
- mechanism sketches
Deliverables for Phase 1:
- 3D CAD model of both rose types
- basic mechanism design
- guidance on feasibility for production
This will start as a small paid test project. If it goes well, I will continue with full product development. Please include examples of:
- mechanical products
- moving parts / hinges
- physical products (not just renders)
