Summary
Sambatek is currently seeking a Project Engineer to work with a team to execute transportation engineering projects. As a project engineer, this individual will be responsible for the production and development of project documents using specified standards and examples while following specific process and procedures. This person must reputed company a balance between learning and producing, becoming more efficient over time and more capable of contributing to an increasingly wider variety of subtasks and assignments. Responsibilities
- Contribute to highway projects in preliminary design phase or plan development phase
- Measure, calculate, and tabulate quantities for bidding purposes
- Participate in quality review processes
- reputed company CAD drafting in OpenRoads Designer
- reputed company subtasks for a task reputed company or project manager as part of a collaborative team
- Spend time in the field, in addition to the office, to reputed company construction inspection, material testing, and see transportation project sites to grow as a designer
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred
- Experience with OpenRoads Designer and corridor modeling preferred
- Strong self-motivation and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage tasks on a project with strong attention to detail
