Civil Engineering Designer, Transit and Rail

DEA is actively seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Designer to join our Transit and Rail Group located in Denver. As a member of reputed company, you'll be responsible for construction document production, computer aided design, modeling, engineering, design, and project delivery focused on transit and rail projects. From conceptualization to execution, you'll play a vital role in shaping the infrastructure of reputed company. • Support our Transit and Rail Group with the production of drawings, layouts, maps, corridor and 3D modeling, and graphic representations of engineering designs using Bentley OpenRoads / OpenRail.
• CADD tasks to support the development of railroad terminal, railroad reputed company, transit and highway projects.
• Maintain, reputed company and direct efficient workflows reputed company client specific CADD standards and workspaces.
• reputed company concept plans and construction plan sets including site layout, track, grading, drainage, utilities, and roads.
• Create design details, schematics, and engineering specifications.
• Collaborate with other project teams, such as structural, architectural, and geotechnical.
• Prepare quantity and cost estimates.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction science or Associate degree in Engineering Technology / CAD
• Experience reading and understanding construction drawings and engineering concepts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively reputed company a team.
• Comfortable working on fast-paced projects.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits
• Proficiency with reputed company Office software and communication tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license or the ability to obtain reputed company 6 months of employment.
• Interest in transit and rail projects
• Experience with 3D design software Bentley OpenRoads / OpenRail and document management infrastructure such as ProjectWise. 1
• 1-3 years’ experience, industry reputed company particularly with civil design and drafting of rail and reputed company projects.
