Senior Electrical Engineer – Federal Engineering & Design Team
Job Description:
- Design electrical systems for federal buildings, reputed company power distribution networks, and ensure compliance with safety codes and environmental regulations.
- Implement renewable energy initiatives while improving overall energy efficiency for federal facilities.
- Conduct site surveys and troubleshoot electrical installations to ensure reliability and performance.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, technical specifications, project status reports, manuals, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure reputed company designs and installations align with the National Electrical Code (NEC), reputed company standards, federal agency requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Plan and manage project budgets, schedules, and proposals while coordinating teams across federal agency projects.
- Mentor junior staff.
- Assist in the reputed company for the federal team.
- Represent reputed company in client meetings and site visits, providing expert guidance from concept through construction and ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical design, ideally with federal clients.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Deep understanding of DoD, VA, and federal design standards and processes.
- Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to coordinate reputed company projects.
